Beliefs during school-day

Do you have some beliefs during school-day ?

Personally, I never have the need to have certain beliefs when I was in school. However, I find this story of amulets, charms and other hoaxes dreams enough interesting.

But where did they from this beliefs ?

I think is not only an influence of family, religion (whatever that is) but also a lot of television, reading by youth etc. Let me explain. When we arrive on a new school or a new city, we lose any marks and we can feel lonely. So, to cling to beliefs maybe help some people to overcome their fear of the unknown even to find the big love ! Such as the manga "School Day" which evokes love charms. Indeed, according to the manga, if you put a picture of your sweetheart like a wallpaper on your mobile phone and you keep the secret during three weeks, this person will love you in turn. Manga have much influence on youg people today !

That being say that the charm is often associated with wichcraft because of the pendants or amulets called "magic".

But a charm can be something completly banal like a necklace, a bracelet, a ring, a picture on a diary, a letter, a Bible verse, a literary quotation or a simple piece of clothe or a tatoo. Each charm is personal with specifics powers that we need.
