Aimee Mullins is an Americain athlete, actress and model who was born with a fibular hemimelia (without fibula). It's therefore amputated belong the knee at the age of one. This handicap doesn't prenvent the young woman of 34 to have a life with full of projects !
She also practice high-level athletics and participates in the 1996 Paralympics in Atlanta in the 100m and long jump. She is also the first amputee athlete to participate in NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association).
In an other field, fashion, she scrolls for the deceased Alexander McQueen in London in 1999 with protheses ash carved by hand.
Finally in the 7th Art, we found her in the episode "Five little pigs" in the mystery series "Hercule Poirot" (adapted from Agatha Christie's books) in 2003 and in the role of a journalist in the Oliver Stone's movie, "World Trade Center" in 2006.
Despite her desability importantly, she continues to pursue a life of dedicated woman and have many other projects. She is currently in partnership with a major cosmetics brand to bring a different idea of beauty.

Hi ! I read your article and... Woah ! I know some person can be amazing but Aimee Mullins is the greatest (laught). I watch some of her videos and the only thing who ressort is that she is very, very, very brave to do that she want.
